Longmead House continues to offer accommodation with the quality and level of service that merits the recommendation of a Four Diamond rating. A commitment to customer care and hospitality are significant strengths and with regard to physical aspects, bedrooms are well equipped and finished with considerate extras. The public rooms are light and airy, provide a good level of comfort and it is encouraging to see home cooked dishes served. Housekeeping standards are praiseworthy and Mr & Mrs Poole are commended for the attentive manner in which the house is maintained.

The House is set in a very good location, with the grounds being well maintained. High quality and comfort is provided throughout, and the owners invest each year to ensure that their Silver Award is retained. Guests are made to feel very welcome throughout their stay, with very good levels of hospitality.
Nigel's hotel career began in North Devon over 30 years ago, and Jacqueline has been involved in customer service for a similar length of time. This experience has been put to good use in the years since they moved to Longmead, enabling the hotel to develop good modern standards of comfort & hospitality.
